Khmer × Lao New Year
This April, we gather to honor Cambodian and Lao New Year traditions through an intimate five-course tasting experience at Khâluna.
Chef Ann Ahmed welcomes Chef Malyna Si — currently competing on America’s Culinary Cup — for a collaborative evening rooted in heritage, memory, and place.
Chef Malyna, who is both Cambodian and Laotian, is creating this dinner in honor of her late mother. Together, we will explore the dialogue between Khmer and Lao cuisine — celebrating both their distinct identities and the traditions that connect them.
